Underbelly slays em in Newcastle

NBN Media Release:

The latest incarnation of this series is set a generation before the Melbourne
gangland wars erupted and last night’s 2 Hour Series Premiere of Underbelly: A
Tale of Two Cities captivated Newcastle with its raw emotive brilliance out rating
even the premiere of last years’ series.

Underbelly: Tale of Two Cities is the highest rating drama in the Newcastle market, year
to date; premiering with a peak audience of over 168,000 (average 154,000) viewers
watching this compelling tale of Australian crime in 1976.

At the programme’s peak a massive 74% of people watching commercial television
were watching NBN.

NBN also convincingly won the night with a 50.5% (6pm – 12mn / 5 station) share.
Underbelly: Tale of Two Cities continues next Monday @ 8.30pm.
