I haven’t paid much attention to this blog in 2015, which is a shame because I owe a lot to the Mediahunter blogging journey. It is where I learned how good content can help position people or businesses in their industry. It is where I learned that content can generate a lot of traffic and business. It is where I accidentally learned about search engine optimisation and then spent years studying how to get web pages to rank.
Ironically, I have spent most of 2015 focusing on the skills I learned here to the detriment of this blog.
Instead, I have concentrated on rethinking the agency model and, specifically, building my agency. Along the way I have been publishing lots of content, optimising the hell out of the agency website and fine-tuning lead capturing and lead qualification processes. The result has been fantastic; a lot more clients in numerous markets.
Here are some of the new people we’ve been fortunate enough to work with this year:
Inspired Adventures – we launched their beautiful new website to help them expand into new markets and streamline their enquiry and sales processes.
Opus5K – we launched the new health industry site for this Brisbane-based provider.
Credit24 – Sticky has been responsible for the online marketing of this Australian personal loans provider which has experience rapid growth in 2015.
AST-Sports Science – we have been managing digital marketing for this leading US sports supplement company in an extremely competitive market and industry.
Mission Australia – we have just been appointed to manage the digital marketing for Mission Australia’s network of Early Learning centres.
Peaberry’s Coffee Roasters – asked Sticky to redesign and optimise their website to increase sales (launching any day now).
B&K Consulting are a boutique recruitment firm in Sydney we have been assisting with a digital marketing Strategy.
Intelligent Retail is a dynamic EPoS company who recently engaged us for total digital marketing.
…and there have been a few more big projects started that we hope to share soon.
It has been a big year for my team and most of it has been a result of very focused approach. Focusing on your niche was even a topic I spoke on at DiG 2015 because I believe so strongly in it (after too many years of a less than focused approach).
So, for the few readers left of this blog….that’s why I’ve been quiet over here.
